My cooking styles are classic dishes with my own twist, nothing is impossible; vegetarian, vegan, Asian, Mediterranean or south American.
I work with local ingredients and many of out of my own garden. I have my own olive farm, many different fruit trees and a vegetables garden.

We make all our dishes using local products.
Also, we make our own olive oil, balsamic vinegar and use homegrown vegetables as much as possible.

We give cooking workshops on location
or at our beautiful farm.
Once a month I will cook a beautiful dinner on the farm or on a special location for a limited number of guests.
So be on time if you want to participate next month's dinner.
The price will be in between €10 and €20 per person.
Hi,
my name is Kasper Mooyman and in Januari 2021 my wife, then 3-year-old son and 7-month-old daughter came to Portugal in our caravan, all the way from the Netherlands.
I am a chef with more than 15 years of experience working in restaurants and catering.
I was about to follow my dream and open my own restaurant when all the lockdowns and restrictions started. I saw many business owners struggle and decided this might not be a good idea at this place and time.
It made me and my wife think out of the box and we decided to take our chances somewhere with more space and sunshine.
It has always been my dream to be self-sufficient, grow my own food, make my own cheese, wine, beer, dried ham and so on.
On the 7th of January we left in our caravan, going on an adventure trough snowy Spanish mountains, sleeping in parking lots because everything was closed.
When we finally arrived in Portugal we stayed at a wonderful B&B called "Antes o Vento" where we did volunteer work for a few months.
We now own a small farm in Vale de agua in Santarem.
We have almost 2,5 hectares with olive trees, a small vineyard, more then 60 fruit trees, eucalyptus, an amazing veggie garden, goats, chickens, turkeys and soon hopefully lots more.
In addition to all the farming I still really love to cook, now I get to use my homegrown veggie's. In the summer I had a lot of fun cooking for the guests that were staying at the beautiful B&B "Quinta Ninho d' Aguia". A lot of thanks to the lovely owner Claudia for having us and making most of the photographs on my website.
I´m very excited for a future of cooking and farming and doing what I love.
And I really hope you will love it to.
If you have a special occasion or if you are unable or simply do not like to cook you can hire me. I will make an beautiful diner especially for you. (from 1 to 8 persons) You can send me an email for prices and menu's or you can choose one from below( min €150 depending on menu, group size and location)
we give all sorts of cooking workshops these are just some examples
here is a workshop where we teach you how to prepare and ferment certain vegetables for preservation and how it benefits health.
here we teach you 3 different fresh pastas one stuffed like ravioli or tortellini, a type of gnocchi and tagliatelle.
in this workshop you will be making different kinds of sushi and other Asian dishes.
